Are my trials, answers to someone else's Prayers?

I would have to say the last two and half years have been some of the hardest I have faced as a wife and a mother.  They of course haven't been without happiness and blessings, but they have still been pretty hard.  I would also have to say that my growth and wisdom have never been greater.  I told one of my kiddos, as long as everything turns out great in the end I am so glad for all these trials.  During one of my hard nights, I was talking with a dear friend.  She sat there and listened, gave me words of comfort, showed empathy and was so wonderful.  At one point I mentioned a situation one of my other friends was struggling with and I said that I would love to have her trial, her situation was what I wanted.  After we talked I left the room and my friend turned to my daughter not joking but serious said...I wish I had your mom's trial, that is what I want.  We laughed at that irony of it.

Fast forward several months and we had just moved, we were still in boxes, I had a new born baby and Garron was gone for a couple of months.  I was trying to hold it together, but not doing very well.  I remember sitting there on my bed, falling apart and asking Heavenly Father why? Why am I having to do this all alone, this is my last baby and I am so exhausted.  I want to enjoy him and love him but I am to tired to function. Why is one of my children struggling and I can't reach them.  And the thought came to me, Dena someone out there is praying for what you have.  They are praying that there was a dad that could go to work and they could stay home with their baby and not have to leave them.  There is someone praying that their baby will be okay so that they can take them home.  There is someone out there praying that they can have a baby.   There is someone praying that their struggling child could be safe in their home.  There is someone praying that they could have a home to move into.  I realized in the moment that what I thought of as trials, someone else would see as an answer to their prayers.   In that moment even though things were still hard, I was still so very tired, my heart was lifted and it made everything a little easier to bear. It turned my heart to gratitude.  It makes it a little hard to be mad, angry, sad at something when you are thankful for it.
