Maternity Pictures...no Thank you...well okay, I guess so.

Is it a boy or a girl?  We don't know....but here comes the tie breaker. 


DO NOT TAKE A PICTURE OF ME!!!!!  You better delete that.... That is what I say constantly to my kids, husband, mom, sister, friends etc. No one is allowed to take pictures of me when I am pregnant, EVER! Then one day I was talking with a dear friend and she said "Dena, I was the same way.  But then years later I saw a picture that someone had took without me knowing at a Halloween Party and I was so glad to have it, It then made me a little sad that I didn't have any other ones."  So begins the adventure of trying to get Maternity Shots.  I knew that I didn't want them just of me, that would be too much, from not wanting pictures of myself to all the focus on my growing belly.  I thought it would be fun to do all the little kid/maternity shots with the whole family. So we did. 

​If you have ever taken them, you probably know that the idea time is around 7 months, not too big, feeling good.  That was my aim.  However, with most things during this pregnancy I didn't really get to decide. Right before 7 months I got super sick for 6 weeks, and then Garron went out of town, and we had to move.  It seemed I was never going to get them.  I think Garron was under the assumption that this pregnancy was never going to end so we had all the time in the world to get pictures.  He was going to go out of town again and I said, no way not until we get pictures.  I am pretty sure there might of been some sort of threat...like if I don't get them now, and I have the baby, I will have to have another one just to get maternity shots.  So here they are... Maternity Pictures 2 days before the baby was born, not the cute 7 month bump but the huge 38 week bump!!!! 

Now the weather in St George all winter was absolutely perfect, almost like Arizona!!!! Oh how I miss Arizona winters.  Since I was going to get pictures, the weather decided to turn so very cold...mid/end February.  Of course it would.  My kiddos were so nice to be good sports in this freezing weather.  I am so very grateful for that.  

,  We told the kids "now act how you felt when you found out you were going to have another sibling." So funny looking at them...the photographer took about 10 right in a row....Sterling by the end was crying with his hands in his face"  He is such a clown and a faker...Lexi, before Davin kept asking for me to have another baby.  She said "Mom, I will change all the diapers, I will get up with the baby at night."  I have held her to that...well not all the way, not the night part.  This time around she declared "I am NOT changing any diapers."  She is absolutely the best big sister to these little ones.  My sister always says, everyone needs a Lexi.  Dagen...well that is how he is about everything in life.  And Ashton she would want 10 siblings if I could.  Presley she likes little play buddies. 

If only had a couple more days...I really wanted to get this shot of all the kiddos looking over my belly (well with six kids I guess the full length of me) with just their eyes and up showing...first one wasn't even close to what I envisioned....second one closer.  It was the last shot of the day, they were freezing and were done.  Garron clicked a couple of shots and they ran for the van. Directions to Garron...I want to see their eyes....umm Presley only has one eye showing...so mysteryious.  I thought well when Garron gets back into town we can try to redo these.  Nope baby came two days later.  And I would like to say thank you to the baby for pushing his head up in the second one and making my one bump into two.  The kids were  laughing saying....your belly looks so weird, it's not normal.  And was I trying to fist bump somone...

Something is going to pop soon!!!!
We always have so much fun doing this.  Try getting 7 people to have a bubble at the same time. 

Every night we would get these out and let the kids talk to the baby and listen. I think it really helped everyone bond with the little one....

Yes my legs are really that long...dang why didn't I put shoes at the end after Sterling that would have made my statement believable.  We are going to photoshop some in.
